  • Description
We barrel fermented about 60% of this wine, and aged that portion in barrel for 4 months, offering the wine a touch of brown spice and vanilla, while cold fermenting the remainder to maximize a fresh fruit-forward character. Bright lemon and apple aromas mingle with hints of toasty barrel complexity, and on the palate, pear and pineapple with spice and refreshing acidity will have you coming back for another glass. Enjoy this lively chardonnay now and over the next couple of years.
  • California Grapevine
Medium to medium-dark ruby; attractive, fragrant, spicy, dark plum and boysenberry aroma with hints of dill, tobacco leaf, leather, and graphite; medium-full body; plush, plummy, herbal, dark berry fruit flavors with oaky overtones and a touch of cocoa; medium-full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Easy to drink now. Recommended.
  • Wine Enthusiast
You get plenty of ripe berry, cherry and currant fruit in this expressive young Cabernet. Smoky oak adds sweetness, making for a delicious wine to drink now and over the next several years.

This wine has black plum, berry, and spice flavors. Aging several months in small barrels imparts a toasty vanilla character that lingers through the silky finish. This Merlot hails from gravelly loam soils in the warmer growing regions of Sonoma County
