Resin, coconut, caramel, and lanolin dominate over the sweetly ripe black and red berry tones in the nose as well as on the palate. Thankfully, there is more than enough energy here, so that the wine’s almost thick richness does not become tiresome.I also liked the salt, bitterness of fruit pit, along with the cut of fruit skin which adds a decisive counterpoint to a memorably long finish.
