Our 2009 Estate Cabernet is a great example of the vintage and our site in the Santa Ynez Valley. The moderatetemperatures and lack of rainfall coupled with our low-vigor soils and well-exposed terrain created a wine that is ripe,elegant and quite complex. The wine aged in French, Hungarian and American oak barrels. 35% of these barrels were new, with another 25% seeing 1-year of use, and the remaining 40% being 2-years old.
