2009 Durigutti Malbec
WINEMAKER'S NOTE
Lush and spicy ripe-fruit driven nose, with a broad, fairly explosive palate of red cherry, plum, chocolate, and mint. Bright, refreshing acidity holds everything together and makes this an excellent choice with spicy foods.

Tanzer"Dark red. Laid-back, slightly rustic aromas of currant, chocolate, mocha and leather. Supple and suave but not overly concentrated, with good inner-mouth energy to the flavors of blackberry, chocolate and mint. A rather dry, classic malbec with a savory finish displaying fine tannins and a lingering chocolate note."

Wine & SpiritsA lush, toasty style, with lots of cocoa and roasted vanilla up front, followed by dark, well-layered fig, boysenberry and mulled currant fruit flavors. The long finish lets all the fruit hang nicely, with an underlying graphite hint supporting it all. Drink now through 2011.
