WINEMAKER'S NOTE
Offers up generous fruit along with menthol, spices and hard candy, showing notable intensity while retaining an essentially mid-weight style. Round, suave tannins add to the long and refined finish. Food Pairings: Hearty stew, wild game, roasted red meats and sharp, aged cheeses. Alcohol 14.0%. Not yet reviewed; 2007 vintage rated 90+ points by Antonio Galloni (Wine Advocate).

Wine & SpiritsFrom one of the best and most famous Barolo makers, this is a top selection of Nebbiolo sourced from vineyards in Castiglione, La Morra and Novello. All these grapes could have been Barolo, but Vietti chooses to produce a declassified wine from them allowing you to experience the height of Barolo at a much lower price than you would expect. Here you have classic intensity combined with classic minerality, elegantly styled and balanced.
