WINEMAKER'S NOTE
A ripe apricot nose starts off this rich, fruity dessert wine and continues through to the finish. Slight hazelnut overtones mix with pineapple to create a truly unique taste. The finish lingers, but also lifts, leaving only the fruit flavors with a hint of sweetness.

Wine & SpiritsIn the case of Standing Stone's Vidal "Ice" there appears to have been no blemishes. This may not be terribly complex - its primary flavors are of lemon curd - but it is a delight to drink and displays classic ice wine character. That includes its efficacious acids, its vanilla icing-like glaze, and its combination of richness and body (at 11.5% alcohol by design) with a certain ingratiating lift.
