2008 St. Supéry Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc Estate Dollarhide
The 2008 Sauvignon Blanc is focused and intense. Starting with ruby grapefruit, nectarine and a shaded aromatic minerality. The palate is bright with lime juice, honeydew melon and pineapple. A refreshing acidity keeps all of the extraordinary flavors light on their feet, very juicy and a finish that goes on forever.
Wine & SpiritsRating: 90/100 - As reviewed by Wine & Spirits Magazine on 06/09. An intriguing soil character develops along with intense lime flavors as this wine's initial reduction blows off. It has warm accents of agave and corn silk. To pour with the cauliflower in a cast iron pot at Ubuntu in Napa.
