Deep ruby, opaque black core, purple rim, slow-moving tears. Medium(-) intensity developing aromas of black berries, cherries, leather. Dry, medium acidity, low tannins, medium(+) body and hot alcohol with medium(+) intense flavours of black cherries, black currant, chocolate, pepper. Long finish. Score dinged on the nose: Opened and served right away. Deep red in colour. Grapey nose with dark fruits and quite a bit of vanilla oak. Similar profile on the palate with flavours of dark plums and oak. Little bit of heat coming through on the palate. Not much tannins here with lower acidity and a medium length finish. A decent bottle of Aussie Shiraz, Young full body shiraz, quintessentially Australian. Uncomplicated and enjoyable, in the nose it shows ripe notes of dark cherries and fruit, in the palate dense soft tannins with predominance of cherries , raspberries and pepper. The finish is longer than expected, can age a couple of more 100% Shiraz. 12-16 months in new, 1, 2 & 3 year old French & American Oak (that's a lot of different Oak) Nose: Fresh notes of red fruits mingled with some argula and crushed rock Taste: Their 'entry level' Shiraz boasts real juicy fruit that's unmistakably Aussie but a nice authentic spicy note and smooth body.
