A beautifully captured regional statement of dark herbs, leaves and ripe dark-berry fruits here - really distinct, and destined for cedary, claret-like character in time. The palate's supple and even, really charming and flavorsome; handsome, fine tannins sweep along and there's a good whack of violet and cassis through the finish. Nicely done.
