Very citrus flavour crispy little sparkling monkeys hopping Around inside a <br/>mouth<br/><br/>Wine Review: Monkey Bay returns to the ranks of recommended Sauvignon Blancs. This wine was better than many of the other 2008 New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs that I tried. It is also a better value than most and would be a perfect everyday white. It is pale white in color and opens with a traditional grapefruit like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied and has nicely integrated acidity. It displays slight tart lime flavors. The finish is dry and subtle. Enjoy this wine with spring rolls or chicken picatta. Enjoy – Ken<br/><br/>Winemaker Notes: Light yellow in colour, with green tints and brilliant clarity. A classic Marlborough bouquet of ripe citrus, tropical, and herbal aromas. It is crisp and refreshing, with vibrant flavours of ripe grapefruit, gooseberry, and passionfruit.
