You can really notice oak on this one, so you should be cautious if you hate oak-monsters. Fortunately this is not just vanilla-shake but also has nice solid structure supported by strong tannins. Over-all quite a delicious with food. Complex with a Napa Valley-like feel to its currant, black cherry, tobacco, dusty soil, and new oak flavors. Juicy, concentrated and super-bright on the palate with complex, fresh flavors. All in all, although ratings were good, as well as reviews were positive, personally I did not care for. Too peppery, too much oak. Maybe second bottle will be better after a year or 2. At this point would not buy again.
