this cheap (and I mean cheap) Italian is actually thin in body but it is deceived by it's 13.5% alc content. raisin and stewed fruit on the nose, leather and stewed fruit on the palate. it's like sucking on a saddle. well maybe not that bad. med tannin and a false length due to the alcohol. drink it with Italian food and that should mask it.

heavy, spicy, drk aromatic, s puglia salento Italy typical! after one glass alone no appetizers becomes diff to drink... great for pastas and meats full flavour cheeses.on own one glass only.
