This wine is a seamless blend of Cabernet and Merlot. On the nose, we picked up aromas of candied chocolate. On the palate, chocolate covered cherries, black fruit, with some lovely overtones of pie crust and a hint of nutmeg. A very concentrated wine, yet with a silky, toasty finish highlighted by just a touch of vanilla.
