Stephen Tanzer's International Wine CellarBright, dark ruby-red. Subdued but very ripe aromas of blackberry, cassis and licorice, with complicating suggestions of chocolate, herbs, shoe polish and leather. Rather suave on entry, then ripe and smooth in the middle, with a subtler sweetness than the chunkier 2008 Alamos cabernet. The very fine, broad tannins dust the palate and teeth. This refreshing malbec is very easy to drink.
