WINEMAKER'S NOTE
Color: Mid straw, with lemon tones.
Aroma: Vibrant currant-leaf, citrus and gooseberry aromas, with freshly cut herb undertones.
Palate: A full flavored, medium bodied wine, with an abundance of archetypal currant and gooseberry flavors, that linger on the dry, clean finish.
Food pairings: Summer salads, poultry and shellfish, such as Marlborough's famous green shell mussels, as well as lobster and white fish.

International Wine CellarBright, pale straw. Knockout nose combines lemon, lime, pear, melon, flowers, licorice and jalapeno, with a spicy ginger quality emerging with air. Then deep and fresh on the palate, with juicy pineapple and grapefruit flavors complicated by a hint of crystallized citrus peel. There's an element of varietally typical herbaceousness but this wine is ripe, balanced and long.

Fellow Drync'rgooseberry on the nose, a little citrus, very inviting aroma, this is delicious! slight acidity on the tounge with a palate of herbs and gooseberry, winds down the finish with pizzaz, the finish makes the tounge beg for more, complex, fun, so damn good, quite close to flawless
