Ruby-red. Powerful aromas of dark berries and cherry, with complicating smoke and mocha qualities. Very rich and almost un-pinot in character, offering deep black raspberry and bitter cherry flavors and a kick of peppery oak spice. A rich, extroverted wine that finishes with lingering sweetness and good length.
