Deep red with negligible color variation at rim. Opens to heady oak which quickly vanished, leaving classic Cabernet Sauvignon nose of blackberry and cassis. Flavors of the same with medium acids and tannins. The sugars seem syrupy and cloying and this overpowered filet mignon and mushrooms. Try with a pepper sauce or lamb with rosemary. Serviceable Napa Cab but would not repurchase.
