WINEMAKER'S NOTE
A refined and elegant wine, our 2007 Bradford Meritage is a blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot, all grown in our estate vineyard. Dark chocolate, mocha, and subtle black and red fruit aromas are present on the nose. Additional flavors on the palate include blackberry, blueberry, currant, and hints of anise. The finish is distinguished, with chocolate, spice and cassis flavors present through the finish. A gentle giant of a wine.

Dense aromas of dried currant, buttery melted chocolate, and beet chutney with a round, satiny fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body and a long, smooth, earthy mineral accented finish with superfine tannins. An excellent, elegant wine that will pair beautifully with a filet mignon now or save for a few years. (tasted on Feb-21-2011)
