Here is the kind of big, ripe, liberally oaked Cabernet that will find favor first and foremost with unrepentant fans of the style. We will not argue that it might be a bit overdone, yet it is not out of control and its richness is not accidental. It is long on very deep, optimally ripened currant fruit and decked out with a full complement of sweet, slightly caramelly spice. There are plenty of tannins to ensure a long future, and if needing at least five or six years, it has build of a wine that could easily grow for a decade or more.

Full bodied and richly textured, this cabernet displays intense aromas and flavors of black currant, sandalwood, white pepper, and cocoa, with a smooth, lingering finish. If you have access to a cool dark place, lay some bottles of this Reserve down for up to a decade and patience will reward you.

Dense, chewy and full-bodied, with rich, dark berry fruit that's deep and concentrated, with layers of dried currant, graphite, black licorice, mineral, cedar and nutmeg, ending with mouthcoating tannins. Best from 2011 through 2020.

Rick, oaky perfume with deep black fruit, coffee, vanilla and blackcurrant. Sumptuous and creamy with an immense weight of fruit, integrated tannins and a savoury finish.
