WINEMAKER'S NOTE
Intense, ruby red color. Expressive nose with notes of raspberries, bilberries and cherries, enlivened by a touch of spice and a depth of vanilla. Charming fruit in the mouth with good structure that highlights concentrated flavors and fleshy tannins. Nice complexity on tasting resulting in good length. Thanks to a rigorous selection from our best "cuvees" for 2007 Crianza, this wine retains in full the character from top quailty grapes.

If you like a consistently good, reasonably-priced Rioja, Marqués de Cáceres should be a household name. The 2003 Crianza is smoky yet fruity, perfectly balanced, and maintains the elegance and finesse Riojas are famous for. The smooth tannins, layered chocolate, black fruit and mushroom notes make this a perfect dinner wine - an excellent companion to paella or roast chicken.
