Vanilla notes are complimented by nuances of oak. the 2007 meritage is a traditional blend of 59 percent merlot, 38 percent cabernet sauvignon, and 3 percent cabernet franc. the combined elements build to an elegant and polished finish. Drink now until 2014."

initially very sweet, oakey and smooth to a spicy finish. excellent wine, even better value.
