Pale silver with hints of gold and green; a little fizz when first poured. The wine has an open nose; ripe apple and citrus aroma is fresh and tangy, with plenty of floral, and a note of white pepper. Very attractive! The palate follows the same path, but is not quite as intense. Still, it shows good tart, fresh apple, with a little lemon and grapefruit, finishing with some chalky minerality. Good. It has a light body, is quite dry, with modest-plus acidity.

Very good, slightly fizzy white from Portugal. For the price, a great pick for summer BBQ. Got it on 95th and Madison. (7.99)
