WINEMAKER'S NOTE
87 points Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): Bright ruby. Spicy aromas of dark cherry, redcurrant, mint and tobacco. Juicy and gently sweet, with a soft texture to the ripe cherry and plum flavors. Offers good easygoing appeal, decent finishing clarity and sweet persistence. (Sep/Oct 2009)

S"What could be nicer than top-rate Cabernet fruit from some of South Australiaâs best regions made into a voluptuous wine by Chris Ringland and, itâs all wrapped into an edgy package at a steal of a price. 100 % Cabernet from 10 to 30 year old vines. Fruit came from three distinctly different regions: 38% McLaren Vale, 37% Barossa, 25% Pyrenees. Born during the 2004/5 growing period. The season began with a wet winter followed by ideal growing conditions â a superb long ripening period of mild, dry days & cool nights. Enjoy Evil!"
