Bill Easton's entry-level offering from his Amador County perch is filled with ripe berries and a touch of a dried bark, stave-like note in its reasonably generous aromas. It is full and fairly firm on the palate with perky, berryish flavors and more than enough tannin for grip. It may be a bit on the rustic side, but this one is going to be right at home with savory barbecue hot off the grill. GOOD VALUE
