The family resemblance between this and its year-older predecessor is unmistakable, but, while each is fruity and biased to sweetness, this one comes with just a touch more depth, and its mildly peach, Bartlett pear flavors hang around a bit longer at the end. Balanced, yet also quite smooth in feel, it is an eminently gulpable wine for warm-weather sipping yet can easily accompany light foods.
