Good saturated medium ruby. Crushed blackberry and violet on the nose, with a light herbal pungency. Smooth in texture and not at all overly sweet, with shapely black fruit flavors and a juicy quality. Finishes with tongue-clenching tannins that turn a bit dry with air, but this appears to have enough supporting strength of material.
