The purple-colored 2008 Malbec Blend contains 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Bonarda. The wine was aged in French and American oak. It offers up a nose of cedar, black cherry, and plum leading to a dense wine with plenty of savory black fruit flavor, a forward personality, and good length. RP

minerally, even salty. muted berries much like French reds. understated though ripe fruit. young yes, but velvety finish.

great wine for the price - lots of big jammy goodness

full bodied, spicey, not too many tanins.

little too dry for me....taking it back.
