Community Tasting Notes (average 77.3 pts. and median of 79 pts. in 11 notes)

Warm sweet aroma. Strong alcohol, and a bit too astringent for my taste, but has clear berry flavor underneath, with a decent aftertaste along with the tongue tingle from the excessive alcohol. I wouldn't serve it to guests but it works well enough as a worknight wine at home.

semi-dry, dark, medium body, medium tannins, tastes of currants, black berry, spice, light peppery, pairs with heavy beef or spicy Italian.

strong blackberry & blueberry flavor. smooth start with biting finish. medium dry. good chicken wine.

Same label but Winemakers Select. Bought at east point world of beverage. About $10
