A dusting of cocoa and the sweet smells of ripe Zinfandel join in this fairly full-bodied bottling to give the wine a bake shop edge, and those confected suggestions are repeated in flavors that are frontal, clean and somewhat narrow. The wine earns a passing grade despite its sins.
