Wine & SpiritsRating: 92/100 - As reviewed by Wine & Spirits Magazine on 10/09. Terre Basses is named for the lowlands on the WillaKenzie estate, and in most years it's one of the winery's most masculine wines. But such aromatics in 2006! Ink, iris petal, rose, smoke and herb complement flavors of cherry skin and pomegranate, with a finish that suggests dark, loamy earth. Serve this with duck breast in cherry sauce.
