WINEMAKER'S NOTE
Dark black. The nose shows lifted notes of spice, followed by an amalgam of fresh espresso, rich chocolate, dark cherries and freshly roasted almonds.
The mouthfeel is long, dense and coating with luscious licorice, mocha, spice and blackberry flavors. With more fruit weight and tannin than previous vintages, this is a lot of fun to drink now but will age nicely.
Expert Reviews

International Wine CellarInky purple. Intensely perfumed nose offers vibrant dark berry and candied plum aromas, with an exotic twist of floral oils and baking spices. Broad and sweet in the mouth, with juicy blackberry and cassis flavors perked up by slow-building cinnamon and clove spiciness. Finishes with excellent precision and persistence.
