WINEMAKER'S NOTE
The Merlot and Cabernet Franc is sourced from Howell Mountain and St Helena. Tannin management is an important factor in our producing powerful, yet elegant wines. Beautiful color with penetrating aromas that begin with a presence of black currant, graphite, hints of earth and undertones of espresso. Bright yet plush, with black cherry, blackberry, currant, licorice, chocolate and smoke flavors, all neatly layered for complexity. Firm, solid tannins provide good structure, weight and a great mid-palate grip. Long finish rounds out this wine.
