Bright red-ruby. Expansive aromas of cherry, briary raspberry and pepper. Creamy in texture but at the same time bright and juicy, with lovely peppery, floral lift to the red fruit flavors. Finishes spicy, smooth and long, with pliant tannins. This was a very strong zinfandel vintage in the Paso Robles area, noted winemaker Ehren Jordan.
