International Wine CellarBright red. Spicy strawberry and raspberry aromas are complemented by cracked pepper, pungent herbs and fresh rose. Juicy red berry preserve flavors offer very good clarity, with mounting sweetness and a late blast of white pepper. A medium-bodied, tangy, fruit-driven pinot with good finishing snap and persistence.

Connoisseurs' Guide to California WinesThis clean but less-than-expressive look at Pinot Noir is, in truth, a fairly small and stunted wine. It is short on the currency of real fruit, and it picks up a slight edge of bitterness from it light, but wholly unbuffered tannins.
