Bright red. Spicy strawberry and raspberry aromas are complemented by cracked pepper, pungent herbs and fresh rose. Juicy red berry preserve flavors offer very good clarity, with mounting sweetness and a late blast of white pepper. A medium-bodied, tangy, fruit-driven pinot with good finishing snap and persistence.

This clean but less-than-expressive look at Pinot Noir is, in truth, a fairly small and stunted wine. It is short on the currency of real fruit, and it picks up a slight edge of bitterness from it light, but wholly unbuffered tannins.
