Vivid ruby. Fresh red berries and Asian spices on the nose; reminds me a bit of pinot. Spicy raspberry and bitter cherry flavors are finely etched and given depth by bitter chocolate and black tea. The most youthful of these 2006s, finishing with excellent clarity, minerality and thrust.
