Wine and SpiritsA clean nose of white grapefruit and an underlying chalk note. This wine is very bracing and very electric. On the palate: High acid, bright white grapefruit flavors, very complex, very lively. That chalk characteristic comes through again on the palate and lasts very long into the finish. There is nothing rich about this wine. It's all laserlike focus and length. It is amazing for it's intesity.

Wine.comMade in a highly reductive way in order to preserve the best of the fruit personality of the vintage, the2006 shows riper characteristics, while maintaining the typical Southern Right balance of Old Worldminerality and length with New World palate coverage and body. 2006 is a wine that favors originexpressive individuality and palate complexity ahead of pure, pungent varietal aroma.
