The creamy texture of asian pears and peaches glides across the palate and the light oak tones highlight the wine's complex and lingering finish. We have a particular style that we've developed with that wine. I wouldn't call it buttery per se, but it is rich. Maybe some people might think it has buttery descriptors. We say it's fruit forward and that the oak is very integrated into the wine. Probably texturally it seems buttery. -Winemaker G. Graham

This creamy, oak-sweetened wine displays plenty of appley fruit by way of attractive varietal character and sports a racy touch of balancing acidity that keeps it light on its feet and refreshingly vital. It will succeed equally well as a partner to richer chicken dishes as it does to broiled or grilled fish, and it is perfectly suited to near-term enjoyment.
