Stephen Tanzer's International Wine CellarSaturated ruby-red. Cherry, blackberry, Indian spices and cracked pepper on the nose, plus a subtle floral quality. Pliant dark berry flavors are firmed by juicy acidity and fine-grained tannins, picking up candied licorice on the back end. Gains weight with air and finishes with lingering spice and licorice character.
