I liked this almost enough to get to the 90 point glass ceiling. It did not quite have the layers and complexity, it did have the flavor. The nose was fresh and inviting. The color strong, deep, and dark. Blackberry fruit with a hint of licorice, currant, and cocoa. A little smoky (do I hear heavy toast oak?) Balanced acidity. Somewhat heavy, though seamless in the mouth. Polished finish. Decent price. (330 views)
