13% Merlot; 2% Petit Verdot. While showing little in the way of finesse or refinement just now, this sturdy and rough-hewn young Cabernet does not stint on extract or deep curranty fruit. It is very tough and abrasively tannic on the latter palate, but it does not dry out, and it will need another five to ten years of patience before hitting its stride.
