Medium red. Knockout nose is sauvage and noble at the same time, combining wild red berries, dried flowers and minerals. Suave on entry, then perfumed and sharply delineated in the middle palate, with enticing mineral and floral notes giving the berry flavors superb lift. From the delicate seduction of the rose and wildflower scent, to the brooding, backward, dark power underneath, this provides two parallel expressions of its class. There's the fresh, bright buzz of roses and underbrush, a transparent savory character, and there's the firm, umami, deeply mineral tension to the dark cherry fruit. This is a grand wine, from four acres in the cru, including Jadot's parcel on the Morey St-Denis side. It won't be completely accessible without long-term aging.

Stuart bought this for kathryn and I from the threshers across the road from nationwide in wokingham. Very light in colour very good kick when breathed I'm over. Fresh tasting. Fruity smell.

enjoyed this one easy to drink had with thanksgiving meal dry but no after taste

we had this wine on Christmas eve 2009 with fish and rice. truly amazing.
