Wine & SpiritsRating: 93/100 - As reviewed by Wine & Spirits Magazine on 10/09. Seven Hills Vineyard shows its colors in this 2006 blend of cabernet sauvignon (56 percent), merlot (34) and cabernet franc (10). Behind the aromas of woodsmoke and peppercorn, there's a dark and compelling core of fruit-black plum and black raspberry. Its flavors are deeper than Perigees of past vintages, but no less focused or less stylish-an evocation of an iconic vineyard in Walla Walla.
