Dark, saturated red. Very rich nose exudes overripe raspberry and red cherry syrup, along with a hint of figs macerated in alcohol. The cherry syrup note is present on the palate as well, where a hint of negroamaro's typical shoe polish flavor also becomes apparent. Finishes moderately long, with a trace of excess alcohol. Still, its aromas and flavors are so ripe and voluptuous that most tasters will find this irresistible.
