  • Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines
Medium salmon-pink color. Convincingly keyed on the cherries of Pinot Noir from start to finish and showing just the slightest touch of candy in scent, this dry, moderately fruity rendition is balanced by enlivening acids and has the depth to successfully accompany a wide range of foods.
  • Wine & Spirits
Breathe in the oak and apple wood smoke, breathe out the scents of cherry skin. This wine is tight and light in body, yet there's a gelatin thickness backing up the texture. The fruit is shut down and needs to grow into that texture - as it may well do over the coming year.
