The wine displays intense characters of blueberry, blackberry, plum, mocha and spicy oak. It is youthful and tannic but has good balance between all the components and will age very well. The persistence of flavour is impressive and is probably the reason why this wine has consistently received ratings in the mid 90's over the last five vintages.
