WINEMAKER'S NOTE
Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine Review Rated 90 This is a young Cabernet meant to be drunk young. Its outgoing aromas of currants, berries, dusty earth, roasted vanilla bean and creme caramel are entirely accessible now with nothing held in reserve, and its round, supple, somewhat soft texture is the right vehicle for the rich, lush, lightly chocolaty, well-fruited flavors that follow on. It can age a few years, but its lifeline is not enormous so drink it up now in its lusty youth. read more...Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine Review Rated 90 This is a young Cabernet meant to be drunk young. Wine Tasting Notes Dark black with red hues, this wine is full-bodied with rich flavors of chocolate covered cherries, ripe plum, cassis and spice. The influence of aging the wine for 18 months in new American oak imparts subtle hints of vanilla and nutmeg that yield to the dominant fruit characteristics, ending with a long elegant finish. Accessible now, this wine will continue to age gracefully. (hide)

Wine.comThis 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon opens with bright fruity aromas of red cherry and spice that continues seamlessly on the palate from entry to finish. The wine's structure and ripe, round tannins on the finish complement its soft luscious mouthfeel. The tannins are smooth and soft, making it perfect with full-flavored meats such as slowroasted pork. Grilled meats such as steaks, chops, and lamb loin complement thisCabernet Sauvignon's toasty component. December 2008

SNotes of toffee, vanilla bean and hickory on the nose which lead into black cherry, pomegranate and black licorice onthe palate. Seamless tannins flow through the mid palateand then dovetail into a dark chocolate finish.

Fellow Drync'rHandsome, approachable but underdeveloped. Peppermint with sweet cherry. Finish is sweet almost like a Pinot/merlot mix.
