Sour cherries, a wisp of sweet oak and elements of dried brush combine in both the underplayed nose and mid-density flavors of this slightly subdued offering. To its credit, the wine is slightly rounded in feel and does muster a reasonable sense of varietal accuracy, but its finishing acids come on fairly strong and leave it a little stiff at the end.
