The blend is 77% Zinfandel and 23% Mixed Blacks Rhone Blend. The 2006 vintage is full-bodied yet silky smooth wine, and presents a dark cherry-red color. The aroma and palate profile includes dark cherries, lush blueberries and ripe plums. Spices, cedar and anise round out the aroma profile. Thanks to extended, cold maceration, the tannins are quite soft and well integrated.
