Bright, red-cherry fruit and suggestions of plums are juxtaposed with a deft bit of oak in both the aromas and flavors of this pert and mannerly young wine. More precise than potent and long on the palate, it is just a bit tight as Oregon Pinot is wont to be, but its unwavering focus on fruit makes for easy predictions of goods things several years hence.

Bright red. Fresh red and dark berries on the nose, with hints of brown spices and flowers. Fleshy raspberry and blackberry flavors are framed by silky tannins and given lift by a tangy mineral quality. Finishes clean and brisk, with a strong echo of red berries.

Polished, focused and expressive, with red berry, cherry and floral aromas and flavors that pick up hints of roasted beet and a meaty note as the finish persists against refined tannins. Beautifully made and distinctive. Drink now through 2016. -Wine Spectator
