Very good deep red. Black cherry, smoke, game, brown spices and underbrush on the fragrant, pure nose. A step up in concentration and structure from the Rue de Vergy, with palate-saturating breadth and a classically dry character. A cleanly made, youthful wine with a distinctly horizontal finish and lovely aromatic persistence.
